About three years ago, we (Ed and Claire Loveridge) were happily living in Thatcham, near Reading. Ed had been working in IT for about 12 years, while Claire had been a self-employed translator for about 2. Our life was gently ticking along, but we decided we wanted to ‘shake things up’ a bit and do something different. There’s a big wide world out there, just begging to be explored and we wanted to expand our horizons, experience other cultures, meet people and hopefully have some adventures on the way.
The culmination of around three years of planning, including moving house, major dental work and a great deal of saving, this is the diary of our travels!
